Quite late for a year-end journal entry, huh?

2008 was a crazy year for me indeed. My personal life was a downward spiral. Blame to being brokenhearted, not reaching my expectations, lack of motivation, started smoking again, and trusting the wrong people in and out of the office! It all happened from April to late October last year. I was so demotivated. So, I decided to exile from the cosplay scene and not to login to Friendster, Myspace and Multiply for a while, move on, reflect, remain focused at work, pamper myself and get back in shape.

Thank God that it has been working well! In fact, I'm working on a promotion right now after my new bosses saw my potential to become a true team leader. I also gained weight and muscles, having cleaner lifestyle, become physically and emotionally stronger, wiser and getting more creative.

Now, I'm ready again for war against my personal demons!

About the blog title, I used the terms "reconnaisance", to describe how I isolated myself to look back and determine what to do next as a form of emotional therapy; and "renaissance", refers to my sudden return here on DA.
